Short for Summer

Ready to show your legs?

I don’t know about you but once it starts hitting 75-80 degrees, I’m not going to suffer in full-length jeans!  It’s nice to be able to cool down wearing some stylish shorts or a cute skirt.  After having lived in Arizona for awhile I wont’ put myself through the torture of keeping on long pants just because my legs have been shaded from the sun for months!  If anything, get yourself a spray tan and find yourself some stylin’ shorts!

My Shorts Picks

1: Amuse Society – I love something a little bit unique.  With a ruffled hem and a drawstring waist, these shorts are bound to be super comfortable!  No need to worry about weight fluctuations like you do with denim.

2: Madewell – Everyone is into scallops lately and these shorts will be super flattering against your legs having that kind of cut.  These come with an elastic waistband and pockets.  A simple black pair of shorts is a great addition to your wardrobe, easy to pair with any tank or tee.

3: Citizens of Humanity – As simple as it gets, a dark denim pair of jeans from a reputable and good quality brand.  The bottom is a cutoff straight across to keep them looking clean and trim.

4: Merona – If you’re looking for a great budget pair, Merona is great.  They aren’t the best options for petites since they tend to run large and the smallest size is 2.  But, they’re still really cute and I love the chambray style.

5: J. Crew – Another great look is the high rise short that comes in pink or white.  These are great for a more “dressy” look with shorts, especially having the bow in front!

6: One Teaspoon – Looking for something a little more grungy?  These cutoff shorts come with rips and tears and fading.

What’s your favorite??
