  • Cookbooks by Rick Bayless: My husband won’t just buy any cookbook; he has favorite chefs and those that are filled with recipes that coincide with explanation of the culture.  For example, his favorite chef has always been Rick Bayless.  We ate at one of his restaurants, Topolobompo, in Chicago and it was really unforgettable (get your reservations a couple months in advance).
