I read bloglovin every morning to see what else is out there, for inspiration and simply for enjoyment. Today I wanted to share some of my favorite outfits I’ve seen recently, and in general, just some of my favorite posts.
Fashion: Putting Me Together
I’m featuring Audrey from Putting Me Together. This outfit is simple and great for a weekend out or casual dinner with friends. I really like skinny jeans in different, subtle colors like this olive green. I think this is a great example of how to stylishly wear a denim jacket. Also, the top underneath the jacket is something I’d definitely wear; I love when the shirt is long in back!

Travel: Local Adventurers
Just stumbled across this blog by Esther and Jacob, Local Adventurers. They move to different cities each year to live like locals. They go on a ton of adventures and create city bucket lists and guides. I am super jealous of their life and hope to go on half the adventures that they have. Mad props because they make Tucson look beautiful (I lived there and wish I had appreciated it in the way they portray it!)
Please visit their site for detailed packing lists by destination and adventure. Shop some of my favorite outdoor items for hiking and backpacking:
Capilene shirt for moisture wicking // Salomon hiking shoes // Long sleeve hiking shirt // Perfect size Osprey backpacking bag // Patagonia nano puff hoodie (best thing ever) // Hiking pants for women
Food: Half Baked Harvest
I’m featuring the food blog of Half Baked Harvest, by Tieghan. I chose this blog today because her latest recipe caught my eye so I cruised over to her blog and was really impressed by the food photography. A couple favorites that catch my eye include Singapore Sweet Potato Noodles and Buffalo Cheddar Soft Pretzel Twist.
Fitness: Carrots ‘n’ Cake
Today I chose Carrots ‘n’ Cake blog by Tina. I chose this one in particular today because I’ve been thinking about trying Crossfit and her most recent post features information for those interested in trying Crossfit. Before we moved to NYC, my husband and I had been doing personal training in preparation for our wedding and had also done an 8 week challenge of Bikram Yoga. We need to get back to exercising and have been talking about Crossfit for awhile.
