Central Park in February

Visit to Central Park

We finally took the time to take our first trip to Central Park!  This is from 3-4 weeks ago but I forgot about posting it sooner.  From 6am-9am and from 9pm-1am, dogs are allowed off-leash in much of the park (excludes certain areas).  Harlee had a lot of pent up energy and was ready to zoom around off of his leash.  We woke up Saturday morning around 6:30 and got ready to head over.  We started at the south end of the park, working our way north.  I wanted to share some pictures from our little adventure!

Sometimes Harlee tries to go home with another family…

Check out this cool ladder and how the red stands out among the dullness of winter.

S0metimes Harlee just wishes he was taller.

In New York, not all of the color disappears in the winter.

We walked across the bridge and got a view of the Upper West Side.

Skyline views are amazing and even if it’s man-made, I love the water.

Harlee likes the water, too.

After the park…for the rest of the weekend.

Central Park is pretty nice!  I mean, it’s not the wilderness but it is a pleasant escape from the city.  I was happy to find a place that Harlee could run around off leash and get some exercise.  He loved making new friends and I loved feeling a bit like I was a part of the outdoors.

Interested in what I wore?  I love being comfortable and when my clothing can be flexible when I’m walking around.  Check out my outfit below!

It’s a great “escape” from the city noise and commotion!
